                  What Our Parents Say

This new page is devoted to any advice, favorite quotes, "I wish I had knowns..." or whatever parents want to share.  Just e-mail them to facetsbcs@gmail.com for inclusion and specify if you want it signed or left anonymous.

When we received our son's autism diagnosis, I wish the doctors told you then and there..."Prepare for poop spread on more things than you ever thought possible."  Buy a steam cleaner if you have a young kid!

Two great books for explaining autism to a young sibling are: "Friends Learn About Tobin" by Diane Murrell and "Tacos Anyone? An Autism Story" by Marvie Ellis.  Both books are available on Amazon or by loan from Bryan ISD.
