There are many great resources available online for parents discussing red flags for autism or even videos comparing children with ASDs to typically developing children at various ages. If you have concerns about the development of your child or a loved one, please make use of these resources. Then discuss your findings with your pediatrician right away and ask them to complete the M-CHAT or CHAT screening on your child and or a referral to a specialist for diagnosis of developmental delays.
